Ferguson police identify officer in Michael Brown shooting

Reports USA Today:

The Ferguson, Mo., police department on Friday identified Darren Wilson as the officer who shot Michael Brown, whose death spurred violent protests and unrest in the St. Louis suburb over the past week.

Ferguson, Mo. Police Chief Thomas Jackson said Wilson has been on the force for six years. Jackson said Wilson has been on the force for six years and has no disciplinary action against him.
